Description: Long Island is about 125 km long and no more than 7 km wide. It is an especially dramatic island, with bold
headlands, towering cliffs and rolling hills.
The terrain of Long Island, on the northern side consists of hills, rocky cliffs that dip into limestone caves that desend
well beneath the sea, and the southern side is characterize by wide soft sandy beaches that dip into emerald green, and aqua-marine
water. Home to some 4,000, this long island as the name indicates, is 80 miles in length and 230 square miles in area.
